A Stroll Through The Parks of Harvest Hills

The Parks of Harvest Hills will include several special Neighbourhoods that give unique character to each part of the plan and provide a diverse set of experiences as one travels through the Community. Each Neighbourhood will be defined by either its own unique and identifiable architectural style and detailing, or a combination of styles and details inspired by, and reflective of the historic architectural precedents.

Architectural Theming

Inspired by the Western Canadian prairie homestead, The Parks of Harvest Hills honours the time-tested housing types of Craftsman, Farmhouse, Prairie, and their contemporary interpretations. These varied yet cohesive architectural styles not only reflect the City and the regions historic development, but create picturesque streetscapes and the charming character of a simpler time.

The neighbourhood streets in The Parks of Harvest Hills have been designed with respect to the pedestrian experience. Each street will be unique in character with a rich inventory of houses that build on the architectural theme of the neighbourhood. Curvilinear in their form, the tree-lined streets engage the user and provide an ever changing range of views along the streetscape that the traditional grid pattern streets cannot offer. All streets have been designed with continuous sidewalks on both sides and provide for on-street parking and front loaded garages with driveways.

Harvest Hills Way

Presented in both single family detached and townhome product, the character of Harvest Hills Way will be expressed through contemporary and traditional interpretations of craftsman, prairie and farmhouse styles

The Island

The Gardens

The Gardens will utilize bold colors, and focus on public/ private interaction through the use of substantial porches.

The Terrace & The Rise

The multi-family sites are to reflect modern interpretations of the contemporary prairie style, with strong emphasis on simplicity and horizontal and vertical lines.
